USA Patriot Act
We proudly support all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our customers and our county. The USA Patroit Act was created by our senators and representatives shortly after the events of September 11, 2001.
To help the government fight money laundering activities as well as terrorism, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and maintain information that identifies every individual who opens a new account with Heritage Bank.
This means that:
- When you open any new account we will request you to provide a current picture identification that verifies identity including name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to verify your identity.
- We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identification documents.
- In all cases, protection of our customers' identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.
